Language Proficiency Testing
The Test of Russian as a Foreign Language (TORFL) is a comprehensive assessment consisting of 5 subtests. Each subtest is designed to evaluate different aspects of a candidate's language skills, providing an objective measure of their proficiency in Russian. These subtests align with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) to ensure consistency with international language standards.

Vocabulary and Grammar:
  • Assesses the candidate’s knowledge of Russian vocabulary and grammar.

TORFL Certificate

The TORFL certificate serves as an official document that verifies a foreign citizen’s Russian language proficiency. This certificate is valid indefinitely, ensuring its relevance throughout the candidate's professional and academic life.

To obtain the certificate, candidates must complete 5 subtests – Vocabulary and Grammar, Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. A minimum score of 65% is required to pass each subtest. Results are processed within approximately eight weeks, and candidates who do not pass one of the subtests have the option to retake it. After successfully passing all subtests, candidates are awarded the state-approved TORFL certificate, which is widely recognized for various academic and professional purposes.

The TORFL certificate is crucial for admission to undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs at universities in Russia and Belarus. Developing oral communication skills through dialogues, monologues, and role-play exercises. Training focuses on pronunciation, intonation, and confident communication in Russian.

3. Mock Exams
Regular practice with simulated exams that fully correspond to the TORFL format. These simulations help students become accustomed to the exam structure, time management, and stress control, while also allowing them to assess their preparation level and adjust their study plan.

4. Practical Tasks
Completing typical exam tasks for all subtests. Exercises focus on developing the skills needed to successfully complete each subtest, with an emphasis on practical language use.

5. Study Materials and Resources
